Project 31

"Your beauty should not come from outward adornment, such as braided hair and the wearing of gold jewelry and fine clothes. Instead, it should be that of your inner self, the unfading beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is of great worth in God's sight. For this is the way the holy women of the past who put their hope in God used to make themselves beautiful" (1 Peter 3:3–5).

Today I spoke with a beautiful women in my life, my sister Rachel. There are few moments we get to speak, but today, although short the Lord worked in mighty ways! She is a beautiful daughter of God and one I admire greatly. I had never read any of her posts until this evening. Joey, what a women of passion, love, and a heart for God you have. She is a mommy of my first niece miss Addie. Whom  I get to meet in just a short few weeks. Thank You Rachel for sharing...and inspiring me to do this. I love you.

That being said... She did something this year that has challenged my heart. She took the project 31 challenge. I was captivated by her findings and search of her own heart and God's. So... I am starting my journey.

If you want to join in, head over to She Breathes Deeply for details!
